I cannot thank you enough for putting together our wonderful holiday in Bhutan. It exceeded all our expectations and was truly magical. Bhutan is a very special place and you enabled us to really experience that. I wanted to let you know that our guide Tashi and driver Sherab were excellent. They went over and above in making this a holiday of a lifetime for us. For example, on Oliver’s birthday we went to the nunnery and Tashi organised for the nuns to share in a birthday celebration for Oliver in the temple (giving the first slice of cake to the gods of course) and they made 3 butter lamps specially for Oliver to light (they don’t blow out candles on birthdays) and he was presented with a special white silk scarf from the chief nun. A truly memorable experience. Sherab was very attentive. Without being asked he was always there to support us, especially helping me when I had difficulty because of my sprained foot. The Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary is absolutely a paradise on earth. What a perfect way to end our stay in Bhutan. They were so welcoming and appreciative that we didn’t give up on them and finally made it after almost 4 years since booking.
